Explores and analyzes the history of the Middle East beginning with ancient civilizations, with a focus on the period between 600 CE and the present. Topics include: Golden Age of Islam, Ottoman Empire, Middle East since WWI, nationalism, regional differences, conflict, oil, economics, religion, gender, culture, and current events.
