Program Overview

The Office Management degree and certificate program prepares graduates for employment and advancement on-the-job to mid-management office positions. The curriculum includes training in business computer programs and software such as Word, Excel, and Access, as well as research skills, accounting, the Internet, html and web authoring software. Students complete this program by developing skills in organizational management, business decision making, problem solving, and business communication including written and oral communications, team-building, leadership, and human relations. Graduates of the Office Management degree and certificate program are competitively positioned for jobs such as Administrative Assistant, Administrative Support Specialist, Office Manager, Executive Assistant, and Office Support Supervision.
