Course Description

This course introduces students to the daily life, history, economy, politics, social structures and culture of a foreign country as part of the Study Abroad Program. Students gain skills in cross-cultural competency as well as specific knowledge and understanding of a wide range of topics in the social sciences as they attend lectures, interact with local experts, and participate in field trips and hands-on activities. Students must be accepted into the Semester Abroad Program.
