Information on Degrees, Certificates, Basic Skills, and Credits

The Office of Admissions and Records processes all petitions and determines eligibility for the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science Degrees, Associate Degrees for Transfer and Certificates offered at Cañada College prior to the specified deadline. Eligible graduating candidates must file a petition for the appropriate degree and/or certificate according to deadlines published in the Schedule of Classes. Students who have coursework outside of SMCCCD must arrange for all transcripts to be placed on file with the Office of Admissions and Records and must request the transcript evaluation through the SMCCCD Transcript Evaluation and Course Substitution Services (TES).
