Program Overview

The Art Department affords a unique experience for students seeking a solid foundation in aesthetics, skill development, and understanding of the forms and history of art. The program has been designed to offer a continuity of study through structured courses in the academic tradition. This understanding of art history as a means of understanding the world is intended to support further studies for transfer students.
