Program Overview

The Studio Arts major provides students with a solid foundation in the practice of creating art. It is designed for students who wish to transfer to a four-year school as an Art Major.

Requirements

Complete Core Courses, 15 units Units
ARTH 102 Late Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Art History 3 units
ARTH 103 Art of Europe and America: Neoclassical (c. 1750-Present) 3 units
ART 204 Drawing I 3 units
ART 301 Two-Dimensional Design 3 units
ART 306 Three-Dimensional Design 3 units
Selective Courses, choose a minimum of 12 units from the following: List A, choose a minimum of 3 units from the following:

ARTH C1100 Survey of Art from Prehistory to the Medieval Era 3 units
