Through Work Experience Education, students earn college credit by improving their
skills and knowledge on a paid or volunteer assignment. Students work with instructors
and job supervisors to establish measurable learning objectives appropriate for their
place of employment. Credit is earned toward an associate degree or certificate when
these objectives are successfully accomplished. Call (650) 306-3367 for additional
information.
Students may earn one unit of credit for each 54 hours of paid or volunteer assignment
with a maximum of four units per semester for a total not to exceed 16 units while
enrolled in a community college.
